We enjoyed our stay very much. The design of the room was very efficient. The hotel location is ideal. We were happy to discover that there were umbrellas available for us to use. The staff was very helpful also.

Myself amd my wife enjoyed a 3 night stay whilst visiting my Son who has a teaching job in Santiago. The hotel was excellent, lovely helpful service on reception and the rooms were clean and functional. The breakfast was good and the hotel is ideally located on the edge of the old town. Would stay there again. Thanks.

We stayed at the Hotel Compostela for two nights after completing the Camino. The hotel is well situated - close to the heart of the historic centre and a stones throw from the Almeda gardens. The room was clean and very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a very relaxing stay!

Rather than complete the survey, I am very satisfied. My first night was with a group of 14 and the second night was on my account. The hotel made sure that all of us who stayed over stayed in the same room both nights. Checkout was flexible with our late afternoon departing flights. In addition the lady at the front desk (the afternoon one on Sept 29) was extremely helpful and congenial. I will stay with you again; also very convenient to the Cathedral. My wife and I were extremely satified with your hotel and felt that it was the best of any that we stayed at during our time in Spain. We enjoyed your breakfast selections each morning also felt that it was superior to other places that we had stayed. The location of your hotel in Santiago was also good for people who travel on foot. This hotel is gracious, the room well-appointed and larger than we expected. The breakfast, which was not included in the cost of the room, was expensive but offered lots of good options for someone who is a big eater and would get the value of the cost. The location is fantastic! And the setting is delightful as well.

The modern feel of the inside of Hotel Compostela is in complete contrast to the outside look of the building. We were greeted by a professional, friendly receptionist who provided a map and outlined all the tourist attractions. The hotel is perfectly located and the Old Town starts directly across the road. We booked on a room only basis so didn't sample the breakfast offering or dine there. The corridors are wide with high ceilings and give a great feeling of space. Our room was situated on the 2nd floor and while it had everything we needed, the view was a little disappointing - the window was frosted and when opened it looked onto a courtyard with a frosted roof and other rooms on each side. We were only there for one night and while we enjoyed our stay, I would prefer a room with a view next time.

Very nice hotel conveniently located. Everyone was very accommodating. In fact, we booked a triple room and there wasn't one available the first night. They gave my college age daughter her own single room for the duration of our stay!
